In France, bodybuilding women are little publicized and yet their appearance intrigues and unsettles, sparking an ideological debate in a world where the female body is continuously exhibited, revealed and judged. Who are these women? What drives them? In this documentary project, I aimed to offer a fresh perspective on these female athletes. Representations of women in the media and throughout visual culture predominantly present a male viewpoint, which shapes societal norms and reinforces gender stereotypes. Creating media content by, for, and about women is essential. In this project, far from the media's portrayal, I encountered a diverse array of women with vastly different life journeys but a shared struggle: to be accepted and respected for their choices.

A short film directed by Loida García and produced by Rookies Film. Ana is a young Christian who works for a nonprofit in Berlin. After meeting Bibi, a young Iranian woman, she decides to help her avoid her deportation.

Passage was an exhibition held at Fotogalerie Friedrichshain in Berlin from May to June 2023, showcasing the work of four photographers from Cairo. The exhibition explored the concept of "passage" within the city. My contributions included assisting with the curation, as well as creating print and promotional materials for the event.
